When I woke up this morning, it was to the sound of a shredder that workers outside used to shred palm leaves that I guess got torn off by the wind. Last night I also realized that there are two bars and restaurants on the street where I have my windows pointed. The windows could be more soundproof, so I get free music when it’s bedtime \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this hotel, I paid for breakfast, which was served at the hotel next door. After that, I went to return the car. It was already parked at the office so I thought I would take the free trolley the few blocks so I could skip the heat. However, they don’t seem to run on the same schedule as Google think they are. I ended up walking the distance instead and found some shade on a parallel street. On Sunday I’m going to Slackers Bar & Grill which should be a good hangout for Packer games. According to Google, it would take about 2,5 hours one way by bus and train. So I booked a new car for 24 hours so I could do the 35-minute drive instead. The price the staff at the Sixt-office could give me was $81, while if I booked via sixt.se, I got it for $51. We’ll see if there is something hidden when I pick it up on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

When I headed back to the hotel the trolley just rolled up so I could take it. Went up to the rooftop pool to read the news. However, I started talking with a woman from west Australia and a couple from Maine, both of who were into going on cruises. The latter had done 19 cruises in the 12 months. It did sound wonderful so I might have to look into that for a future trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Double red flags mean no swimming \ud83d\ude41<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Got back to the room to escape the heat for a while and watched a couple of tv show episodes before I headed down to the beach. The waves looked really inviting, but the double red flags on the lifeguard stations told me I wasn’t allowed to swim. I didn’t even get as close as 20 meters before a lifeguard asked me to take a step back. They kept good track of the water line and via whistles told people not to get close. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
