Woke up at 7:30, realised that I would not be able to get back to sleep. Mikael had already gone to the shower, while Henrik also woke up. We decided to get started and build the three remaining cots. When I saw the sweat dripping onto the bed while mounting a stag, I understood how warm it actually was.

Packed my daypack, then headed for the showers. Nice cool water and get the feeling, at least for a couple of minutes (before leaving the showerhouse), of freshness.

Got to the dining hall for breakfast, not the usual stuff you’ll find on a continental breakfast, but I got fed. Met with our Head of IST, who complimented me on the activity in our Facebook group. Glad to hear!

Also met the Dutch girl from yesterday.

After breakfast, I picked up lunch, lots of packed non-perishable stuff, and headed off to the bus station to get to our HQ. Normally a 25-minute walk, but in this hea,t I took the bus with an AC 🙂

Another check-in, this time with my department(?) Connected Experience. Afterwards, I said hello to the team leads in Global Ambassadors, which is my team. Spent the day putting up the ambassadors’ profiles on the homepage. At the end, there was a question about the format, so we will make adjustments tomorrow.

Headed back to Basecamp Echo, where most IST live, for some dinner and then basically just chilling. Visited the shop and bought a couple of items I don’t need 🙂

The longer the evening progressed, we got more and more affected of the previous day of travel and went to bed before 22.

Tomorrow, my department and team will have the first mandatory meeting and kickstart these preparations for real. Exciting!
